The aim of CLAN is to work in partnership with others to see the nation changed through Christians being filled with the Spirit; secure in the Father’s love; alive with the joy of knowing and worshipping Jesus Christ; responding to the call to mission; declaring and demonstrating that the Kingdom of God is near.

We seek to fulfill this vision through:

• Seeking to develop relationships of mutual respect, honour  and support with other missional  organisations

• Conferences and events that aim to:

1. give impetus to a fresh missionary movement within Scotland
2. envision and empower Christians and churches for worship which is passionate, intimate, reverent and biblical
3. provide teaching that equips people for a Spirit-filled Christian life and ministry in their churches, local area and places of work
4. demonstrate ministry in the power of the Spirit by modelling  the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in a mature and responsible manner

 

• Providing support for like-minded leaders & churches throughout Scotland, the UK and abroad, through retreats, training schools and events

• Discerning  where the Spirit is leading in issues of social responsibility, justice, community and the environment

• Serving the poor in Scotland and beyond through the local church and partnering with others in this task

• Encouraging  renewal of existing churches as well as intentionally encouraging new expressions of church and church-based initiatives to reach previously un-reached people
